2020 CANNED CAT FOOD RECALLS!
Each year’s pet food recalls can be seen on the FDA website @ fda.gov/animal-veterinary/safety-health/recalls-withdrawals. Each year, the same common offenders can be seen and these are often the low-cost, low-quality pet foods which are owned by huge corporate conglomerates, and mass produce tons of food daily in multiple massive warehouse facilities. However, despite best efforts, some of the better-made, well-trusted, pet food companies do have incidents as well. It is a good idea to take a look at the list every few months as a proactive pet parent, or better-yet learn how to make your OWN balanced home-made pet food so you don’t have to live with potential recall worries!
For the moment, because we are in the cat-canned food series, I will only list our which canned cat food’s were on the list, however, if you are feeding your cats any other types of food (please not kibble!), or you are also a dog-parent please go check to see the full 2020 recall list.
