HOW MUCH TO FEED YOUR PETS?
*For adult dogs and cats, feed 2 meals per day of a quality wet-only food as much as they will eat within 5-10 minutes.
*If your pet eats all of their food every meal you are under-feeding.
*If they leave food behind every-time you are over-feeding.
*If they eat all of their food, but leave a little behind every 2-3 meals you are feeding their perfect amount!
*Please note, some dogs, especially large breeds, this type of feeding paradigm may not work. They sometimes will over-eat and cause digestive upset, vomiting, diarrhea and become over-weight if allowed to eat as much as they wish each meal. Always be sure to check with your veterinarian if you are unsure. A general rule of thumb for feeding dogs on a wet-only diet is about 1.5 cup 2X daily per every 10 lbs of weight, and puppies and young or working dogs up to twice this amount!
