WHAT INGREDIENTS SHOULD NOT BE IN YOUR CAT’S CANNED FOOD!

Part 5 of my “All About Canned Cat Food,” and we still have 8 parts remaining, so be sure to keep watching! Previously, I wrote about what type of ingredients you want to to see in your cat’s food, but now let’s take a look at “WHAT INGREDIENTS SHOULD NOT BE IN YOUR CAT’S FOOD?”  This list includes all those stay-away from ingredients and in future weeks I will dive into these more thoroughly.

Go check your cat’s canned food and look for a BETTER brand (contact me for help if you need…) and get rid of it if you see any of the following:

1. Meat By-Products❌
2. Corn❌
3. Soy❌
4. Gluten❌
5. Wheat❌
6. Dairy❌
7. Carrageenan❌
8. Any Food Coloring Dyes❌
9. Anything called “Natural Flavors,” or “Artificial Flavors,” or “Colorings.”❌
10. Any Added Sugar.❌
11.  Legumes, Including Peas.❌
12. Should be low percentage of any other grains (like rice), or potatoes❌

(ideally less than 10% carbohydrates for cats, and less than 25% carbohydrates for dogs.)
